The Hip & Pelvis team – Dr. Pedro Simas, Dr. João Sarmento Esteves, Dr. David Pinto and Dr. Miguel Pádua Figueiredo – performed a surgeon to surgeon in the area of Hip Arthroscopy. This training moment allows a surgeon or group of surgeons to go to an expert in the area in question to acquire knowledge in a surgical context.
Thus, it was possible to promote this action with the team of orthopedists of the Hip Unit of the Alvaro Cunqueiro-Vigo Hospital, in the person of Dr. Sílvia Silva and Dr. Daniel Fernández, who accompanied the doctors.
In this action two Hip Arthroscopies were performed in young people with hip joint pathology, previously prepared and studied by the founders of Hip & Pelvis, Dr. João Sarmento Esteves and Dr. Pedro Simas.
