The world of orthopaedics is preparing for another edition of the 3rd HIP G.I.N. (Global Issue Network) Summit, an event dedicated to the major topics in hip surgery.
Organized by the Lusíadas Knowledge Center in partnership with UpHill Events, the summit will take place on November 21 and 22, 2025, at Herdade da Comporta, bringing together national and international experts for a dynamic and evidence-based clinical debate.
The scientific programme focuses on current and challenging topics such as microinstability, arthroscopic revision surgery, primary total hip arthroplasty, and revision surgery. With its innovative CROSSFIRE format, participants will be able to engage in constructive discussions, encouraging the sharing of knowledge and clinical experience. In addition, a practical case discussion session will be held, with prizes awarded to the two best presentations.
The event goes beyond formal sessions, including informal networking moments designed to foster collaboration among healthcare professionals. Aimed at specialists interested in advances in hip subspecialties, the summit promises to enrich the ongoing discussion on healthcare in this field.
Registrations are now open, with a fee of €40 (including coffee breaks and lunches), and a reduced rate of €20 for specific categories. Cancellations made up to two weeks before the event will receive a full 100% refund. Among the attendees, experts from the Anca & Bacia Portugal team will be present, contributing to the exchange of expertise.
