The four elements of the Hip and Pelvis participated in the Annual Scientific Meeting of the International Society for Hip Preservation (ISHA) 2023, which took place last week, in Cabo, South Africa.
This is considered the largest Orthopedics event worldwide.
For João Sarmento Esteves “it was an honor to be present at an event of this scale, in which we have the possibility of sharing and learning about various aspects of our area”.
Throughout the event, techniques for labral repair, reconstruction, augmentation surgery, revision, capsular repair and instability techniques, periacetabular and femoral osteotomies, myotendinous injuries and repairs, new joint biomolecular treatments, among other topics in conservative hip surgery were discussed.
